During a recent General Staff Meeting, Physical Education Teacher In Charge Liam Mooney and Upper School Coordinator Carys Hurcom, shared their peer observation stories and discussed the rationale behind their team’s processes as part of Clarkson CHS’s 2019 De-Privatising Our Teaching Practice project.
Write A Book In A Day 2019
Yesterday saw twenty Year 7 and 8 Clarkson CHS students participate in the The Kid’s Cancer Project’s Write a Book in Day Competition
NAPLAN Preparation Classes 2019
Wednesday 8th May - Monday 13th May, 3:15pm – 4:15pm in the Library
Year 7 and 9 students are invited to attend NAPLAN preparation classes commencing on Wednesday 8th May and concluding on Monday 13th May.
NAPLAN is online this year so students will need to feel comfortable typing in examination conditions. The classes will focus on past NAPLAN exam and developing your child’s touch typing skills.

Anzac Ceremony 2019
As Anzac Day falls in the Easter holidays this year, we held our ceremony on the last day of term (April 12th).
Students and staff paid respects to all those brave souls lost in conflict for our country.
Well done to all for a great assembly.

Blessing Of The Roads Ceremony
In an effort to reduce road trauma over the Easter Holiday period, the City of Wanneroo, in conjunction with WALGA/Roadwise, is again conducting a Blessing of the Roads ceremony and Human Spirit Road Safety Awards.
The Blessing of the Roads campaign aims to create awareness for all road users of the need to be courteous, take care and have common sense when traveling on our roads, particularly over the extremely busy Easter Holiday period.
The ceremony was held today at Greenfields Park (corner of Wanneroo Road and Elliot Road, Hocking).

NAPLAN Demonstration Site
NAPLAN tests for Years 7 and 9 will be held Tuesday 14 - Friday 24 May 2019
NAPLAN is made up of tests in four areas:
Reading
Writing
Language conventions (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
Numeracy
Students and parents are invited to use the public demonstration tests to familiarise themselves with the type of questions and related functionalities available in the NAPLAN Online assessment.
